2. What this policy covers
This policy explains how we handle personal information in connection with this company website. It is written with reference to the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA) of South Africa. Where visitors access the site from the European Union or United Kingdom, the principles of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) also inform our approach.

3. Information we collect on this website
This is a static, informational website. We do not ask you to create an account, fill in forms, or submit personal information through it. We do not set our own cookies and we do not run advertising or cross-site tracking.
3.1 Server logs
The site is served from our own hosting infrastructure. The web server may record standard technical request data (such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and a timestamp) for security, troubleshooting and abuse prevention. This data is not used to build profiles of individuals.
3.2 If you email us
If you contact us at our published email address, we will receive the information you choose to send (such as your name, email address and the contents of your message) and use it only to respond to and manage your enquiry.
4. How we use information
- Server logs: security, uptime and abuse prevention (legitimate interest).
- Email correspondence: responding to and managing your enquiry (legitimate interest / your request).
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.
5. Sharing and processors
We share personal information only where necessary to operate the site and our email, for example with our hosting and email providers acting on our instructions, or where required by law.
6. Retention
Server logs are retained for a limited period for operational and security purposes. Email correspondence is retained for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and to meet any legal or accounting obligations.
7. Your rights
Under POPIA (and GDPR for EU/UK visitors) you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and you may object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email properties.thl@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the South African Information Regulator, or with your local data protection authority.
8. Children
This website is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time and will post the revised version on this page with a new effective date.
